I finally sat down and read the Cartel 4. I enjoyed the first 3 although if I had to choose, the first Cartel book is the absolute best. The story was interesting and there was a lot going on that made me keep reading. I truly enjoyed it HOWEVER, I do have some issues with this book. First two characters come back from the dead, Miamor and Money. The issue I have with this is if you are going to bring back characters from the dead, it should only be one not two. Secondly, if they planned to bring them both back later on in the series, they should have created their death to appear a little less obvious. Money comes back after a 5 year coma. Yet, in the previous books, he was dead with an open casket funeral. It should've been closed casket or a cremation so at least you can fake that. How do you fake an open casket funeral? In Cartel 4, they say he was in a coma but still breathing in the casket. SUCH BULLS***, because anyone with a brain know you cannot be in a comma and not be hooked up to machines to help you breathe and stay alive. Also, if anyone is in a coma for five years that would not be able to function the way Money did throughout this book. It would take at least a year of rehabilitation to function like a normal person. So as much as I loved Money in the first book, he should have stayed dead. Second, Miamior, she also comes back from the dead but in the last book they say her body was decomposed. So clearly she was dead. How do you bring a decomposed body back from the dead. These thing sort of insults the intelligence of the reader and I don't like that. Lastly, Carter doesn't appear as ruthless as he once was. The characters are starting to become unlikable. I like Leena and Breeze, they haven't changed much through the series. Money has changed.
