This is the atlas I was looking for. Sadly, I had to return it because of the size. It is big and very heavy. I check my atlas quite often and was looking forward to having a new and updated version. This Atlas of the World is the most complete Atlas I've seen. It has beautiful maps, pictures and the most accurate and current information you will need.

Last year I purchased the 19th edition of this atlas series and I would like to say the chance to buy this milestone 20th edition was to good to miss one thing I would like to say is that the covers that the Oxford University Press choose to present these editons are always very colorful and distinctive which sets them apart from other atlases on the market they will always look good on your bookshelf or coffee table.
Now back to this new edition the biggest change you will find in this atlas is the new section 'Future of the Worlds Oceans' witch is at the front of the book it is very well layed out and informative and makes intresting reading and adds to the wealth of information you get with this publication the 'World Geography' section as ever provides you with everything you need to know about the 21st Century World you live in today the Gazzetter of Nations gives you all the information you need to know about the current state of each country the City center and metropolitian maps of all the major Cities are as ever useful if you are starting to plan a trip overseas or just intrested.
Added to all this you get stunning satellite images of the Worlds major cities some of witch are new to this edition like London witch for me is impressive as it is my home Capital city the maps are as ever clear to read up to date and are up to the highest standard all in all this publication would be a fine addition to any home and I would recommend it to anyone I now hopefully look forward to the next edition of the 'Oxford Atlas of the World Deluxe Edition' in good time so keep up the good work there is still no substitute for fine good quality printed World Atlas in this online age we live in.
