There is no greater joy, pleasure, and comfort than being in the middle of a Lucy Stone book. I've read every book, and I look forward to each new book. I take great pleasure in these books, as the comfort level is so deep and warm for me. I absolutely love these books. They are so comfortable and cozy to me.
I enjoyed this book so much. It was comfortable and interesting. I loved both the comfort level and the plot.
This series is good and right for me, but, like anything else, it is not necessarily good and right for everybody. I think it would appeal to anyone who loves the really cozy mysteries, and those who take pride and joy in motherhood (or who look forward to it). I love being a mother, and before I was a mother, I looked forward to it. I enjoyed all those mother years. Now my kids are about all grown. I'll never stop being a good mother and grandmother. As long as there is a breath in me, I will be the best ever mother and grandmother that I can be. A tired mother/grandmother, yes, but a good mother nontheless. (I work 40 hours and have 4 kids and 1 grandchild I worry about.)
In this book, I noticed that the author uses a lot of similes.
I only have one complaint about this series: Elizabeth. One bad apple has to ruin the whole crop. Elizabeth, unfortunately, was in this book, but not a whole lot. If I had of done what Elizabeth has done, I would have been disowned by my parents, but Lucy adores and respects her. I don't know how Elizabeth could have anybody's respect or adoration. I really wish Lucy only had of had 3 kids: Toby, Sara, and Zoe. Elizabeth didn't need to be there.
