This is my first review on Amazon as I don't read books as often as I should; however, I give you my word that I am true to everything I tell you. I have been a business owner for over 6 years (E&D Granite City, Inc. in Lawrenceville, GA for credibility) and I purchased this book after going to a seminar by Jim and Chris at my local chamber of commerce. Every word they said spoke to me and applied to my situation so I decided to give the book a try. The book basically tells the story of every mistake I've made and every success I've had throughout these past 6 years. Although I had already learned much of the content in the book the very hard way, it was still an amazing read that gave me lots of new ideas and also revealed to me that everything I'm doing at the moment is correct which meant very much to me. Had I read this book when I started, I would've saved lots of money definitely, but mostly a lot of time, health, and patience which you can never regain (things can get stressful at times). Not only would I recommend this book to anyone, I advice you and encourage you to read and analyze every word carefully.

5 Stars! This book will help you save precious time and money (Your life!) by removing the major risk factors involved with starting a business. Too many "entrepreneurs" throw caution to the wind and fail at starting a business because they are consumed by the idea of the business and then are overwhelmed by the realities of overhead which ultimately snuffs out their potentially thriving business. The authors of the book peel back the realities and threats of starting a business and give practicable tips on how to grow a successful business from the ground up, all while keeping your day job. The authors offer creditable stories of the companies they have started and the major successes and challenges they have had to overcome. They even add expert advise on the vast opportunities available in global trade markets. So, whether you are a mom-and-pop operation looking to sell Silly bands to your friends or a more sophisticated Law firm, this book has something for you. Great read!
