We really enjoyed using this guide on our two week trip through Israel. The information was very thorough and we learned a lot. We were happy with many of the restaurant recommendations. My only suggestion would be to call locations before you go to ensure the closing times are accurate (particularly on the Sabbath). On two occasions, we were disappointed to discover that some of the sites closed earlier than the listed time. Otherwise, it was a great guide.

Very useful book with lots of insight into little-known areas as well as the most popular sites. Good recommendations for restaurants and hotels - glad to know the ones I booked before buying the book were Fodor recommendations!
